One of the most iconic masterpieces in cinema history, Robert Wiene's Das Cabinet des Dr. Caligari shook filmgoers worldwide and changed the direction of the art form. Now presented in a definitive restoration, the film's chilling, radically expressionist vision is set to grip viewers again. At a local carnival in a small German town, hypnotist Dr. Caligari presents the somnambulist Cesare, who can purportedly predict the future of curious fairgoers. But at night, the doctor wakes Cesare from his sleep to enact his evil bidding...Incalculably influential, the film's nightmarishly jagged sets, sinister atmospheric and psychological emphasis left an immediate impact in its wake (horror, film noir, and gothic cinema would all be shaped directly by it). But this diabolical tale nevertheless stands alone - now more mesmerising than ever in this new Dual-Format special edition. Special Features: Brand new and exclusive audio commentary by historian David Kalat Caligari: The Birth of Horror in the First World War - a new 52-minute documentary on the cultural and historical context of the film You Must Become Caligari - a new video essay by David Cairns On The Restoration - three short video pieces on the film's restoration Theatrical trailer for 2014 reissue Plus: A 56-page booklet with new writing, reprints and rare archival imagery

Have a drink, mate? Have a fight, mate? Have a taste of dust and sweat, mate? There's nothing else out here. Balanced on a knife-edge between social realism and existential horror, this disturbing, subversive portrayal of Australia's cultural underbelly failed to find a wide audience on its original release, but has since become established as a seminal cornerstone of the Australian cinema. A middle-class schoolteacher, stuck in a government-enforced teaching post in an arid backwater, stops off in the mining town of Bundanyabba on his way home for the Christmas holidays. Discovering a local gambling craze that may grant him the financial independence to move back to Sydney for good, the opportunity proves irresistible. But the bad decisions are just beginning and a reliance on local standards of hospitality in the Yabba may take him on a path darker than ever expected. One of the many triumphs in director Ted Kotcheff's career, Wake in Fright effortlessly sustains the quality of a sun-baked nightmare, with a relentless forward drive and outstanding performances by Donald Pleasance, Gary Bond, Sylvia Kay, and Chips Rafferty in his final role. A brutal, gripping dissection of the limits of masculinity and amorality to stand alongside Straw Dogs, A Clockwork Orange, and Deliverance, it remains a stunning entry in the envelope-pushing cinema of the early 1970s. The Masters of Cinema Series is proud to present this film in a new Dual Format edition for its UK home viewing premiere. Special Features: New 1080p high-definition restoration of the film on the Blu-ray and a progressive encode on the DVD Optional English subtitles for the deaf and hearing-impaired Feature length audio commentary with director Ted Kotcheff and editor Anthony Buckley Video interview from 2009 with Ted Kotcheff ABC's 7:30 Report - video piece on the the rediscovery and restoration of the film Who Needs Art? - vintage piece on Wake in Fright Chips Rafferty obituary clip Outback TV spot UK theatrical trailer 48-page booklet featuring essays by Adrian Martin, Peter Galvin, Meg Labrum, Graham Shirley, Ted Kotcheff and Anthony Buckley, and archival imagery

Eureka Entertainment to release DER GOLEM; Paul Wegener and Carl Boese’s classic silent horror, as part of The Masters of Cinema Series for the first time on Blu-ray in the UK from a brand new 4K restoration on 18 November 2019. An iconic early horror masterpiece, Der Golem was Paul Wegener’s third attempt at adapting the Golem character for the big screen. Starring and co-directing with Carl Boese, Wegener crafted one of silent cinema’s most enduring masterpieces. In the Jewish ghetto in 16th century Prague, Rabbi Low (Albert Streinruck, Asphalt) creates a forbidding clay Golem (played by director Paul Wegener) to protect his people from the tyrannical Emperor Luhois (Otto Gebuhr). Brought to life with a demon spirit and an amulet placed in the center of the creature’s chest, the Golem is a seemingly indestructible juggernaut, performing acts of great heroism. But when the Rabbi’s assistant attempts to control the Golem for selfish gain, it becomes a terrifying force of destruction, rampaging through the ghetto leaving fire and death in its wake. A landmark film in the horror canon, influencing most notably James Whale’s 1931 adaptation of Frankenstein, Der Golem, wie er in die Welt kam is also a pre-eminent example of German Expressionism, and an important contribution to the golden age of Weimar Cinema. The Masters of Cinema Series is proud to present the film in its UK debut on Blu-ray from a brand new 4K restoration. Blu-Ray Special Features: Presented in 1080p from a stunning 4K digital restoration of the original film negatives, completed by FWMS in 2017. The Boondock Saints

THY KINGDOM COME. THY WILL BE DONE. Boston, Massachusetts. Home of clam chowder, the Red Sox and Harvard. Home, too, to some of the roughest, toughest criminals ever to walk the streets. When the bungling McManus brothers, Conner (Sean Patrick Flanery, Saw 3D) and Murphy (Norman Reedus, The Walking Dead), inadvertently end up taking out a pair of Russian Mafiosi, they realise they ve found their calling and embark on a mission to cleanse their city of criminals, inspired by the tactics of on-screen vigilantes like Clint Eastwood and Charles Bronson. But their vigilante antics soon attract the attention of Paul Smecker (Willem Dafoe, To Live and Die in LA), an FBI agent with his own unique approach to fighting crime, setting the stage for an epic confrontation that will redefine the words truth and justice . Released in early 2000 in the wake of the infamous Columbine High School massacre, writer/director Troy Duffy s tale of ultra-violent vigilantism was all but buried during its brief theatrical run but went on to enjoy a second wind on home video and has since attained cult status. With its irreverent humour and unflinching portrayal of violence, The Boondock Saints offers its own distinctive take on the seedy world of organised crime. SPECIAL EDITION CONTENTS: High Definition Blu-ray (1080p) presentation of the director s cut of the film Original 5.1 lossless English audio Optional English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing Audio commentary by writer/director Troy Duffy Audio commentary by actor Billy Connolly Outtakes Deleted scenes Reversible sleeve featuring original and newly commissioned artwork by Chris Malbon
